Moonbeam 2023:
In 2023, Moonbeam is set to release a collection of eight songs inspired by the archangels, a common myth found in many of the world’s major religions. This unique approach aims to promote unity and emphasize the shared beliefs and backgrounds of religions and civilizations, as a message of peace and shared ancient believes.
The first release, Azrael, dropped in March to great acclaim. This infectious track, inspired by the archangel of death, entranced every partygoer and ignited shockwaves through the dancefloor.
Next up is Gabriel, set for release in May. Inspired by the archangel of revelation, this track is meant to bring light and inspiration into our lives, in contrast to the darker tones of Azrael.
Following that will be Michael, inspired by the archangel known as the adversary. This track will take you on a journey of overcoming injustice towards children and reminding us of the strength within us to overcome any challenge.
Through the coming months, Moonbeam will release 5 more tracks, aiming to promote unity, as a message of peace, inviting us to celebrate the rich and diverse cultural heritage that unites us all. Get ready to experience a thrilling journey of sound and energy that will uplift your spirit, move your body, and bring you closer to the world and each other.
Moonbeam history:
Moonbeam is a Russian electronic music project founded by brothers Vitaly and Pavel Khvaleev in 2003. Over the years, they have become one of the most influential and respected acts in the electronic music scene, with a reputation for producing innovative and eclectic sounds.
By writing their own house, techno, trance, and minimal techno tracks and remixes, the duo has amassed fans around the world.
In 2010, Moonbeam was listed in DJ Magazine’s Top 100 DJs at position number 42, becoming the third Russian musician in history to make the list.
While the Khvaleev brothers have since parted ways, Moonbeam has continued to evolve and expand under Vitaly’s vision, with its own record label www.topgunrecords.com and publishing company www.topgunmusic.art and a growing roster of well-known bands and artists.
Moonbeam’s podcast New Moon, which features new playlists twice a month, takes listeners on a journey through Moonbeam’s distinctively melodic techno sound, offering a unique experience that combines both the dancefloor and soulful inspiration.
Through these endeavors, Moonbeam continues to stay at the forefront of the electronic music industry, both as artists and entrepreneurs, with an eye towards the future and a commitment to pushing the boundaries of what is possible in music.
Vitaly has also published in 2021 in Russia, “Moonbeam: Inside of the Music Business” which got to be a bestseller on Ozon, capturing the hearts of music enthusiasts and industry professionals alike. The book will be released in English this year.
Gigs & and festivals:
Moonbeam has played at numerous amounts of club gigs and festivals around the world, including Mexico, France, South Korea, Thailand, Kazantip in Ukraine and Nature One in Germany, including a stint across Asia, Seoul World DJ Festival, X2 in Jakarta and M2 in Shanghai.

Moonbeam creative vibes in 2023 draws inspiration from Vitaly’s travels and encounters, and is shaped by two distinct paths: The Full Moon, characterized by hypnotic and melodic techno and grounded beats, perfect for the dance floor; and The New Moon, featuring soul-stirring and melodic House and sounds that facilitate spiritual regeneration.
